Welcome to my blog!

I’m Linda!

I can’t remember not wanting to write, but instead of becoming an author, I had a gratifying career in medicine for quite a long time. Since I discovered that the writing bug really can’t be cured, and that it is a relentless lure, I’ve decided that it is finally time to commit, and just write!

Deciding to write was the easy part, but discovering that I wasn’t the natural I thought I would be, put me on a quest to learn, any way I could. I plagued my family and friends with horrifically awful stories, until I got to a point where not only my inner circle, but my Beta readers asked for more. So, I kept at it. Aside from writing, joining writers groups, reading some excellent books about constructing a novel, I also took screenwriting and playwriting classes, and it’s all adding up.

Now that my first book is soon to be published, and I’m working on an eyeopening story from WWII, I thought I’d blog about this journey into the writing world,  review the books I read, and maybe give you some insight to their authors, the agents that represent them, and whatever else comes to mind.

I hope you enjoy this blog, and maybe it can even help you on your writing journey. Please click the “Follow” button on the side bar to keep up with my posts!
